InDaga v2. Acechadores AV show

Diego Hurtado de Mendoza did not finish his studies in economics. Art forced him in another direction. He is also a self-taught graphic designer and his latest work is the program-design for Clandestino Festival 2006. The award-winning photographer, art curator and DJ, Carlos Campos Sanz started his artistic career constructing mobile music-equipment with a car-battery to be able to perform in Madrid’s metro. They are coming to Clandestino Festival as a duo called, Indaga v2. Acechadores AV show.

Imagine, you are 45 years old. You have a mortgage on your house, and another one on the car. Your children go to a private school. You work out at the gym and on the weekends you take your family to restaurants. Suddenly you get a text message from your company saying you don’t need to come back to work anymore. You’re fired.

This is what the multimedia project, Indaga v2. Acechadores AV Show is about. It focuses on the consequences of living in a neo-capitalistic society. But this is not the only purpose of the show and it doesn’t stop there. They want to relate feelings: fear, love, doubts. The dissolution of character. Yes, what life is about. These ingredients brought them lots of attention in Spain, recently at Casa Encendida, which belongs to the most creative cultural centre in Madrid.

Indaga works with abstract ideas in order to generate new thinking and perspectives about reality and shares a common interest for independent artistic projects that operate outside of the rigid formal frameworks of art and music. The duo use all available resources, without being obsessed with technical issues - which they see as only a tool, not a goal in itself.

Everything can be included in the projects - the mistakes as well. We don’t try to create a series of images that fit the music, nor music that just compliments our videos.

It’s not this which makes it a bit unpleasant. Something rests over the systematic club-orientated music that gives life back to the modern human abyss. We want to warn sensitive watchers.
