DJ Asif expresses a whole variety of different types of musical styles. Influenced from an early age by traditional Asian music and its rhythms to learning the guitar and playing in a punk band and then moving on to experiment with hip-hop and electronic music.
Asif crafted his sound with exploring his Eastern roots with those of the West. The hybrid factor helped create limitless musical possibilities that could be produced from other cultures in his productions to create new exciting sounds.
Urbanised from the Asian Underground scene, DJ Asif is the latest spin-master and producer to join the ranks of the universal dance world. Together with his project Fusing Naked Beats, Asif blends Arabic rhythms and Eastern vibes with his background in hip-hop and deep beats transporting his sound all over Europe from deck to deck.
