Clandestino Talks
TERROR TALKS
CITY OF NAMES
In Gothenburg 2004, and in Berlin the year after, a group of street artists, graffiti writers and authors created a city of their own: the City of Names. The city took shape out of tags and created an alphabet for new words, new meanings, new towns. The Swedish artist Meira Ahmemulic lived in the City of Names and her recently published book (City of Names, Glänta produktion 2008) deals with the rise and fall of the city. At Clandestino Talks Ahmemulic and the leader of the project, the Berlin based artist Zast (Thomas Bratzke), will show sequences from different films and discuss artistic strategies to change a city. The program is organized in co-operation with Glänta.
