BEZDOMNY

Bezdomny means ’without home’ or ’home less’ in Polish and Russian. It is all about a self-elected and happy exile, but it is also the name of a local collective of artist-Magdalena Rapala, Stina Östberg, Staffan Hjalmarsson, Frida Yngström & Maria Karlsson-that has expanded the territories of art in Göteborg by invading various homes with their own and other’s art projects. An hitherto unknown show room in the former opera house Storan will be their next target of invasion. New angles of the possibilities and limitations of the contemporary art scene will be presented in co-operation with the NHR (National Association for the Neurological Disabled).
