The idea behind Quick Response is to follow and debate how the media reports on immigration, integration, racism and xenophobia. On our website we publish our own articles about the media’s coverage of these issues. We also publish an overview of the national media coverage concerning multicultural issues in Sweden.

Quick Response was set up in order to review and react to media reports on questions concerning immigration, by an initiative from the national co-ordination committee of the European year against racism.

Our work is mainly towards journalists, to start a debate among them. But Quick Response also works in schools, aiming to increase knowledge in questions related to immigration and hostility towards immigrants as well as to encourage a critical approach to media.

Quick Response is run by Ülkü Holago (project manager) and Josef el Mahdi (journalist).
